What does an Amazon Relay refresher do?
Amazon says the load board auto-refreshes new spot freight matches every 30 seconds. Refresh by hand and you only see what's there the moment you click. A load that posts and books between clicks, you never see.
A refresher reloads the board for you, on a timer you set. You stop hitting reload, and you don't have to sit at the screen. Here's how the refresher and auto-booker extensions compare.
How fast should an Amazon Relay auto refresher run?
You pick. The trade is simple:
- Shorter interval: you see new loads sooner, and your computer works harder.
- Longer interval: easier on your laptop and battery, a bit later to see new loads.
- Not watching the screen: use ALERT mode, so a sound plays on the page when a load clears your minimums.
Amazon doesn't publish a refresh limit for Relay. In NudoIQ you set it with the SPEED control on the bar and change it any time.

How do you set up an Amazon Relay refresher?
- Add the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
- Open Relay in the same Chrome profile and sign in as usual. The extension uses that session.
- Run your normal Relay search for the lane and equipment you want.
- Set your minimums and, for AutoBook, your Max books.
- Pick a mode and a speed, then press START.

Does Amazon detect a refresher?
We can't speak for Amazon. It doesn't publish what it detects, a refresh limit or any rule that names refreshers or extensions.
Here's what is on record:
- Relay's terms. Amazon's Conditions of Use (last updated January 1, 2023) say the license doesn't include "any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools." Read them yourself.
- Program Policies. Amazon says you can view its complete performance and safety expectations in the Relay Program Policies when you onboard.
You're responsible for your Relay account and for following Relay's terms. Nobody can promise how Amazon treats any tool, and we won't.
